    "*Probably* died quickly." Who's to say the bat didn't hold its breath? Until... the external tank was destroyed in its fiery plunge back into the atmosphere over the Indian Ocean. Okay, so, the bat is dead.

    Yep. Until space bat discovered why the space shuttle was best described by Cracked.com as "stabbing through the sky with fire and math."
